Called dealer to get a throttle body gasket. Dealer ask for last 6 of VIN and if car had electronic sequential port fuel injection, as there are 2 throttle body gaskets for this model. How can I tell if car has electronic sequential port fuel injection? Car is not Super Charged.

This is strange to me. I have a '99 and the only difference I have encountered in the air intake system is in the flexible hose from the air box to the throttle body. I purchased one from the dealer and the mounting holes on the throttle body were different so I took it back and exchanged it. Seems there is an early and late '99 flexible hose but the diameter of the throttle body intake was the same. Both mated up but only the mounting holes were different. Hope this helps.

The diagrams in JEPC show the difference.

You're most likely to have the regular early type TB:

This is the Air Assisted TB:

I have reused the TB gasket with no ill effects however that is dependent on it being metal and you have not bent it.
