Default 2000 XK8 Will Not Start - Cylinder Washing?

My wife came home from shopping (imagine that!) and parked in the driveway. Later that evening she came out and put it in the garage. Next afternoon I come out to go to town and what the.... it wouldn't start. Actually sounded sick. I was reading a post that H2OBOY was involved in about the cylinder walls washing down when started cold and then shut off right away. The problem was common on models up to 1999. I am wondering if this can happen with a 2000 model yeqr too? BUT... if you turn the engine on, after all the bells stop ringing and solonoids stop snapping you can hear a squeal, almost like an alarm coming from the passenger side of the throttle body. When you try to start it normally you can smell the unburned fuel out the exaust. Ya'll have any ideas? Thanks.

Default No Worries It Started!

From reading previous posts and threads I was able to get my 2000 XK8 started. Without the knowledge I gained from Jaguar Forums I would still have my head under the hood! This is a great site even though no one replied to my post. I beleve that most problems you will encounter have already been hashed out somewhere in here before, all ya gotta do is look. Happy Motoring.
