Hi all,
I have a 2002 XK8 and I have lost the audible flasher warning when operating the flasher (i.e. turn signal). Flashers work correctly, just lost the 'beep'. Can't see any reference to it in the 'electronic' manual I have,and as flashers function OK I am guessing there is a flasher unit which is OK and a separate audible sound generator somewhere which has failed.

Anyone out there know location of either / both?

The speaker is in the steering column, it is also used for the seat belt, gear selector, lights on, hazards, etc have you lost all those also?

 

Had the car almost a year and can't say I can recall hearing any audible warning other than flashers. I did wonder why I wasn't plagued with dings when I hadn't belted up. Will check , and now I know what I am looking for maybe I will find something, although I feel a pain in my wallet coming on.
