Hi - has anybody ever replaced 2003 bumper with 2005 style bumper? Do I need to buy the whole bumper assembly or is it just the fascia that needs replacement?

 

You can use just the skin but you will have to change the side mounts, you have a plastic T shaped block sliding into the bumper, the 05 has a bolt and washer set up, this simply bolts into the same place as the T block once removed, but very do-able

 

I too have a 2003 XKR and bought the 2005+ single-piece grill to replace the three-piece set up. Have now decided to keep the original, so if you are interested in that grill just let me know.

 

For some reason I had rear bumpers on the brain but the front is even easier, it is a direct swap with the 2003, all you have to change is the undertray and wheel arch liners, but you can fit filler panels if you wish...

In fact for anyone who is interested you can fit an 05 to a 96 you just need to pack the front up in a couple of places... and that goes for the rear and side sill covers!
