Okay, to respond first to pistnbroke, that answer really does no help. This thread has been ongoing for quite a while.
There is no spark when this happens and if you hit the schrader valve, you get a strong spray of gasoline and in the face if you are not careful. Don't recall the pressure but I did test it once and it was good. Once the car starts, it runs fine.
I have several different OBD readers and none ever show anything. Not just the Mongoose
That is what makes this so aggravating. If it would stay broke long enough for me to do more troubleshooting, I would find it but it is hard to find something when it isn't there any more.

learn your car, do the diag and make the call. go through ids datalogger and look at some pids that might be helpful
If the fault does not exist 24/7 then you have to go into substitution mode .
Ie study the diagram and say " what if it was a faulty ??? " and substitue a bypass for the fault you suspect and see if it puts it right . Eg bypass the earth system , provide another ignition live etc. It must be something that cuts all the igniton so that shuts it down .
Not easy if you are not an auto electrician
I get it and BTW, I used to consider myself a damned good automotive electrical guy until this car. That is what I have always specialized in and apparently, Jaguars are much more deceptive than Alfas or Porsches
So you have established that. OK - next question is why no spark?
For starters, can you wire a tell-tale lamp here semi-permanently between any R/W wire and ground? That at least will tell you if you have B+ to the coil packs when the fault occurs:
You may or may not have an ignition coil relay. If you do, it's here:
Crank position sensor or its wiring ?
Pull the relay in the diagram and re insert with a thin wire in turn to 1,3,5 with a small bulb to earth and see if you loose supply.
If yours has the two igniton boxes I assume you have checked those.
