2003 XKR 6hp24 drain plug replacement
It's these kinds of things that can set ya back a day or a week...
I've been needing to drain and refill my XKR transmission. The car was in a flood and there was/is water in the transmission... So far, I've run about 20 quarts thru and it's looking good. I want to do the last 6 -7 quarts by draining the pan and SURE ENOUGH the 10mm plastic-ish allen bolt stripped. Soft strip. Shouldn't have done this with the pan warm, maybe? Anywho
For now, I only want to replace the drain bolt. I have looked and come up with only and everything being called the BMW part. This part number... Will this fit the zf 6hp26 plastic pan?
I can find them easy enough. Looking to have one delivered by tomorrow if I can just get the courage and confidence that this is the correct part... I mean,,,, imagine the pain of fighting the old one oft,,,, just to realize after that the replacement is the wrong part??? OMG
Any and leads in the right direction will be surely taken and greatly appreciated...
Thanks MUCH to all you guys out there.

California Transmission Supply Co. is an authorized ZF vendor. They normally have these drain plugs but they're currently out of stock:

FCP Euro shows them in stock at USD $2.70 each:

Cheers,
