reason i am asking is that i went for inspection and the mechanic was able to move/rock the rear wheels a bit (fronts are tight). His guess was the rear a-arm lower bushings....both sides rock the same though so I dont know if they are both worn or if thats the way they are supposed to be??? If they do wear a lot and should be replaced, go with jag originals or are there better aftermarket bushings? I assume these are solid busings in the arm? or are they rubber? thanks for all responses.

Is it the bushings where the spindle attaches to the control arm or where the control arm attaches to the sub-frame? Either way, if it didn't knock or give me alignment/tire wear/handling problems I'd leave it alone.
lower OUTER near the spindle it seems ... i jacked it up and took the tires off and (to me) i cant see any movement in this area but i do fel movement, more than one would expect, but i have no reference point...to me almost seems like the bearing nut needs to be tighter....

Are you certain it isn't play in the axle shaft bearings at the diff? The axles act as upper transverse links and it's common for there to be a little play there on Jags.

My indy jag shop diagnosed that very same movement (12 & 6) on the rear as wheel bearings and installed a more robust aftermarket brand. It did correct that.
