I have a 2004 XK-8 with 52,000 miles .4.2 L I leave it in my Florida garage for when I go there September to April . When I came back last month , I started it up and went for a ride . After the engine temp got up to running temperature, I got a engine coolant low fault code . I checked the fluid in the over flow tank and it was full . I have sense checked the fluid level a lot of times . Always full . I’m thinking the fluid level sensor in the over fill tank is at fault . Any thoughts before I just go buy the sensor which sets in the bottom of the tank .

The following has info about the same issue. I was looking at it when I had the same message. In my case the level was actually low and filling it up resolved the issue.
