Default 2005 vs 2006 MY (Model Year) XKR

I have been looking for a 2006 XKR MY (Victory Edition) coupe. I've come across a 2005 MY car. I'm trying to find out the differences between the two years. Can anyone help me out/offer advice?
Thanks

Victory Edition has drilled out brembo brake rotors, carbon fiber dashboard and slightly stiffer bushings, from what I understand. It also has different badges.

As for the difference between the two years? Very little when comparing identical models.

I am not even certain that the drilled rotors were standard. The floor mats are special ones with Jaguar logo and leather trim. Also some features that had been options, such as bluetooth and adaptive cruise control may have been included on the Victory Edition.

Otherwise no meaningful differences.

There are a few differences as far as trim and convenience but as Seismic Guy stated truly nothing of considerable meaning. In the U.S. the XKR Victory Edition was a $4,000.00 option on the window sticker it included the following:
  • Bluetooth
  • Power Fold Mirrors
  • Checkered Flag treadplates
  • White Growler bonnet badge with Checkered Flags
  • Carbon Fiber trim
  • 20" BBS "Perseus" wheels
  • Cross drilled Brembos
  • Red brake calipers (std. silver "R" calipers could also be specially fitted)
  • Leather trimmed floor mats
  • Soft Grain leather seating surfaces and trim
  • Special tail lights with partially tinted lens
There were other options Adaptive Cruise, Recaro Sport seats and an upgraded suspension (the latter for the coupes only)

Special paint options: Black Copper Metallic, Frost Blue Metallic, Bay Blue Metallic and Satin Silver Metallic – (other standard XK colors were also available ) and four interior colors. See this thread for more information:
