I would say you have a sticky lock. Will the door unlock with key?

Either way you are going to have to take the door card off to get to the mechanism which also means you will need a supply of clips to put the card back on again.

Try spraying the mechanism with a silicon spray before you start to spend any money.

Does your passenger door unlock? If both are not locking or unlocking, there is a 10 amp fuse for the locking mechanism located inside the passenger door on the end of the dash fuse panel. It happened to me a couple of months ago, and that fixed it.

Do you know where the best way to buy those clips...just in case the one of the car broke?

Passenger door works just fine....once the door is unlock, the latch has no problem opening.

Hey guys I forgot to say ... it's the door latch from the inside not outside....so the latch from the inside won't unlock the car...I have to use my remote or reach out to the passenger door to unlock the car and then the latch will have no problem opening the door from the inside.

There's no getting away from it - the door card is going to have to come off to see what's wrong.

There's 2 rods and 1 cable connected to the Door Latch:

The BLUE rod goes to the exterior door lock. The GREEN rod goes to the exterior door handle. The RED cable goes to the interior door handle.

From your description, I suspect the cable has either become dislodged or is broken. Difficult to tell because the interior handle is spring loaded and has a resistance anyway when you pull on it even if the cable is disconnected.

Just an update:

I ended up taking it to my Indy and they fixed it...they said it's dry and once they grease it or lube it whatever the term is...it's working succesfully.
