Collective wisdom seems to be that very few original buyers ordered the car with it because it is a 4 hour job to access it. For a convertible car, it is even less likely. On the flip side, nobody told the filter manufacturers, so there is a bunch of them available for cheap. The retrofit parts used to be available from Jaguar until recently, too.
