Is a 2006 XKR coupe a good future classic ?
Sami,
First of all, where has the car been? A 2006, that's 11 years old with only 15,000 miles? I would want a really good answer to that before proceeding with a purchase!
Now what is it worth? If it is real, it's worth a lot of money, as it is going to be a Classic. A low mileage cherry would go for big bucks and would be worth it! How much do they what?

Another thought: Very low miles is not always a good thing. Cars need to be driven and regularly maintained. Big car collections make a point of taking every car out and driving it around a bit, quite regularly.

Not going anywhere near what this thread has focused on . . . value. Far too subjective; too open to variables that only a detailed on-hoist inspection by a real expert can answer . . . and even then, this is more a tango of you and your checkbook! Also, I hail from a land down under, so quite alien to your market. You would think of gross exageration if told how much we would need to pay for a mint condition late X100.
So, into that I fearlessly offer this advice . . . initial purchase price is just buying the ticket that gets you into the party. Staying in there and, more importantly, keeping that car in that condition, is going to cost bucks . . .
Here's the good news . . . and answers the far more important question you pose in your thread title, but no-one has yet addressed "Is a 2006 XKR coupe a good future classic?"
IMHO. short answer is "No! What future? No way!"
Long answer is "Coz it aready is. Just that most folk haven't woken up yet!"
Grab it and enjoy!

If you are actually going to drive it, it's worth a lot less.

Hey Guys, Have you noticed that Sami started this post yesterday at 11:32AM as his first post (ever) and hasn't chimed-in since? Now I'm beginning to wonder if there really is a 2006 XKR with 15,000 miles? or for that matter, a real Sami.......Hmmmm! Are you there, Sami?
