3 Raised lights 2003 XKR
I just brought my 2003 XKR home from Maryland. I was able to disengage my emergency brake quickly due to the forum's great contributors. However, I still have a 2 beep warning (every 5 seconds) that I can't stop. Most importantly, I have had a frantic red light (whistling, clicking and flashing) intermittently going wild on the trip home 250 miles and since then. It is located at the base of the tachometer like the other two at the bases of the speedometer and fuel/heat gauges. There is no mention of them in the manual and they illicit no messages and provide no codes. If I had another option I would have stopped the car until I could figure out what was wrong. Of course, I would still be there. I have searched the forum and found some speculation , but nothing definitive.
I have an issue with the front shocks (or shock seats) and I'm trying to find out if the battery needs to be replaced. I'm getting it inspected tomorrow and will get the battery check and replaced if needed on Thursday.
Thanks for listening.
Scott

If it is #15 that is blinking, then the Driver's side seat belt buckle connectors may be loose or damaged, or there could be a foreign object stuck in the seat belt buckle that is not allowing it to clasp completely, or is blocking the Sensor from detecting that the buckle is clasped, and is intermittently setting off the Driver's Seat Belt Warning Light and Tone. Canned Air and Electronics Cleaner, should it be something sticky, directed into the buckle and sprayed while actuating the release button on the buckle could dislodge an object, or dissolve anything sticky that may be causing the problem.
Have you had a passenger in the car before all this began, and since it has begun? I do not know if the same light will chime and blink if the passenger belt buckle is not fastened, or the buckle is jammed or not fully disengaged from the last time a passenger exited the car. The electronics may be 'confused' if the passenger buckle is being detected as clasped, but no weight is on the seat to activate the passenger air bags.

Probably a radar detector, perhaps an old K40 custom built-in, and the beeps and clicks would be different radar bands/laser. On the drive back, did the flashings and sounds happen when you went past stores or shopping malls (a store's automatic doors sets off x-band detects) and then it was quiet between towns? Do you have a knob mounted somewhere nearby with 3 positions (off, city, highway)? A knob that is not in the Jaguar manual, that is.
If it is a K40 you can find a nearby dealer on the website and they should be able to tell you what you have.

KD40 2000 radar detector and laser jammer. All of the beeping and flashing was due to the police and the rear laser jammer being disconnected.
This drops my anxiety level by leaps and bounds!
Now if I can just get it inspected and get the shock situation worked out, I'm good for winter storage.
Thanks again to all of you. What a great support group.
