Default 97 Loose Door Mirror

On the driver's door mirror, the mirror itself, the glass not the housing, is loose, it wobbles when driving. Is there any documentation for tightening it up?
Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly it just clips into a housing at the back. It may just require a gentle push back to reseat it correctly.

It feels like something's not tight inside, the mechanism. didn't know if there were screws that could be tightened or if the mechanism is shot.

The easiest way to find out is to pull the glass out and look at the mounting behind.

Drive the glass to its innermost setting, for you that would be to the right. With your right thumb, press against the part of the glass that is closest to the door. Using your left fingers, place at the outside of the glass and slowly prise out.

Hope this helps you out.
