97 XK8 Air Conditioning stopped working overnight
This morning when I took her out, no cold air was coming out of the vents. Last night it was still working perfectly.
I raised the hood/bonnet and noticed that the fans were not operating when I turned the air-conditioning on and off when the engine was not hot, and I cannot hear the A/C compressor engage/disengage. No warning light(s) has lit up.
Which fuse or relay should I be checking or what else should I check to get my A/C back?
Thank you so very much in advance.

This is a list of fuses and what they are for, however, it could be that the pressure in the A/C system is low and a recharge is necessary. This system is fitted with a low pressure switch.

Thank you Gus for your reply. Before receiving your post, since it is a 3-day long weekend in Hong Kong, I had looked up the XK8 Drivers Handbook for all the fuses related to the A/C, but all of them were intact. I just took it to a shop which stayed open and try to have her recharged. After attaching the R-134a canister to the low pressure nozzle, the compressor clutch began to engage and disengage constantly, while it continues to blow warm air. After 3 minutes the owner gave up and let me leave without asking me to pay for his work, and told me to take it to a proper mechanic to check for a broken-down A/C compressor.
The mileage on my 19 year-old is now about 92,000 km, and the A/C is on for at least 85% of those miles. Does anyone have any idea what kind of service life can you expect from the A/C compressor installed in the XK8?

I would say that compressor gave its all. Sometimes a faulty pressure switch can be the problem (and shorting the switch can turn the compressor on) but if it blows hot with new refrigerant and the compressor running, that points to a compressor issue.

Fault code #23 pulled
Just a quick update on following Gus's Climate Control Diagnostic procedure, I pull a single fault code of 23, which primarily points to a faulty pressure sensing valve. I shall bring her to my trusted mechanic to short out the valve harness contacts and see what happens.
Wish me luck and stay tuned for the next update...

R-134a leak detected
Took her to my trusted old school indy mechanic today. Using a sniffing probe, leaking refrigerant was detected at the high pressure filling nozzle of the A/C circuit. As all his service docks are filled today, I have to wait for him to call me back when he has a dock free to fix my A/C problem.
Does it look like I should be replacing the entire receiver/drier bottle due to the age of the car, rather than just the valve on the receiver? Is there an OEM/generic part for the receiver/drier that can be installed instead of a Jaguar part?

A/C back to normal - simple valve replacement
A few days ago, took her to my mechanic's shop after he called to say a spot is available for a morning session. He took off the faulty A/C high pressure filling valve sprout which is located atop the dryer, and walked over to a nearby auto A/C parts store with it. He came back with the exact replacement. Apparently it was a commodity item commonly available. After doing a vacuum expunge then refrigerant refill and hose cleaned the condenser in front of the radiator, cool breeze shot out of the vents continuouly, a very timely fix indeed as the temperature went back up to 30 degrees C +, or in the high 80's to low 90's F this last few days.
Looking forward to some top down motoring, soon...
