To repair a coolant leak on the right side of my '99 XK8, the throttle body was moved for more room. In the midst of reassembly, I discovered the plug shell for the Pedal Position Sensor on the throttle body had crumbled to bits. There's only chunks of black plastic falling off the wires. It pulled out so easily, it went unnoticed.; maybe been that way since the last mechanic mangled it. It is probably a blessing as it could likely be the cause of occasional limp modes. Looking at the 2000 MY wiring diagram, it says, in Fig 04.4, PPS Pedal Position Sensors the plug P142 is a Sumitomo 5-way TS090/ black. But there are only 4 wires and the colors don't quite match the '99 MY. There are a variety of TS090 connectors and I'm not exactly sure what the plug looked like originally. None are listed for Jags or Fords of older vintage. There are connector kits on Amazon but I've no idea whether there is any standardization or if they're all unique, proprietary dimensions. I don't want to order them trial & error and spend weeks playing guessing games. Here's another nickel holding up a dollar!
Anyone have a handle on what to order/from where?
