I don't think you even need ignition on to see and pair with the device.
First thing to do is unplug the dongle then scan for bluetooth devices - if the CSR one's still there it isn't the dongle.

Tried all possible ways of connection.
In addition to all, my car started to drop ER and bip into the climate control screen. Now I am afraid of touching something at all.
Gonna try to return dongle and get another one.
My car loves me!
