ABS / DSC Unit Blows Fuses

ABS / DSC Unit Blows Fuses
I have a late 2002 XK8 4.2 vin ending 33862.
The car has developed an abs / dsc fault whereby fuses 16 and 18 (both 30Amp located in engine compartment fuse box) blow with the ABS module plugged in. We have removed the ABS pump module and it smells burnt out and sounds like something loose inside. I am tempted to cut the box open to see if anything can be repaired but judging by the smell maybe a futile exercise. I would rather leave it intact at the moment incase somebody can repair the module and see that I haven't tampered with it.
Has anybody come across this problem and what may be the cause. I am trying to locate another module or complete s/h pump with module. I am having trouble locating anything with the part numbers that are on the module on the internet or evening identify exactly which model I have. The module has ATE Controller DSC with numbers 10.0925-1001.3 (10092510013). To the right of that number is another one number 00002605C1
and below the pair is another number 8MR2H30B45 and it says the unit is made in Mexico.
There are 12 blue valves or solenoids on the other side.
If I look up the part numbers from the XK8 parts manuals on page 639 it shows with traction control Year 00-02 part number JLM021213 yet when I look at specs on the internet for that ABS module all the info comes back saying it has 9 valves.
Could my unit be the 2003-05 year with Part number C2N003651 or something else entirely different? Either way I cannot find anybody offering a re-manufactured unit for the latter part and cannot find any for sale either by that part number or the one on the module.
I think the year of my car (2002) is when it changed from 4.0 to 4.2
Prior to the ABS burn out the car developed a wheel vibration problem that seems to get worse as you drove along but would reset after stopping and turning the ignition turned off and back on but then may come back straight away and some times not. I have replaced discs and pads while car is off road but wondered if the vibration may have been the ABS module going haywire now that it has burnt out.
Any information on remedy and/or source of replacement parts in the UK would be appreciated.

Try Module Masters > Home for help. They repaired mine and I was very pleased. Perhaps they will have a remanufactured unit in stock for your application.

Thanks Spurlee for your info.
I did open the unit and this is what I found. Components blown off the circuit board. I have no idea what has caused this. I have found out that the correct module part number to be C2N3651 to fit 03-05 models
I think the module is beyond repair.
Has anyone had this before and know what the cause is?
Is it possible the motor on the ABS could have seized and overloaded the control module?

Any answers yet?
I am going to try a module from one of these, look identical but slightly different part number. I also cannot find one with part number 10.0925-1001.3
