The ABS light on my 2000 XK8 (50K mi.) comes on intermittantly, then goes out. Sometimes it's just the light, sometimes I get a message saying the Traction control is disabled.

At most it stays on for a day or so, and it seems to happen once every 3 or 5 weeks. There dosen't seem to be a pattern with regard to dampness or heat or anything. it always goes out by itself.

I checked, no codes.

Any ideas?

Have you tried cleaning the ABS sensors?
