Default ABS Pictures

Does anyone have any pictures of the ABS wheel sensors on the back
of the wheels of the XK8? I think I have to clean them. I am getting
the Stability Control Failure msg with the ABS light. But it went out
after leaving it about an hour and then starting the engine.
I just thought I would start with the easy things first. LOL

Ago, if my diagram is correct, the rear abs sensor is pretty deep, unlike the fronts which are a bolt on. If you must, clean the front first. I have never heard of a rear having problems due to brake dust. no. 20 on this attachment

I took the car to the local Ford dealer this morning (raining like crazy here)
they only charged me 30 bucks to clean all 4 sensors. Didn't help
cause the fault came back as soon as he started the car. All day
its been fine for about 10-15 miles then the fault pops up.
Iam wondering if the Codes have to be cleared before the fault stays
off after cleaning? I don't Know.

probably. Id go to autozone and ask them to clear the code.

In NY I know its illegal for them to do it, they say to get the item fixed and whoever fixes it will clear the code.

But Ive had them clear check engine lights before asurring them that the items were repaired and that im no inspector and jaguars CELs dont clear automatically

H2 is the diagram you posted for the front or the rear? And is it not that NO 20 is the gear and the magnet is in the sensor, so you will be infact cleaning the gear vs the sensor? Just asking because I'm having trac fail/stabil fail with ABS light on my 99 xk coupe. RE:traction control fail / stability control fail; posts
