Adaptive Cruise Control
To fix the “Cruise Control Not Available” warning has anyone tried or heard of just disconnecting the radar connection, spraying the connection with electric contact cleaner and then reconnecting the connection? That type of procedure worked for my airbag warning light.
There is certainly no harm in cleaning the connector like that, in fact it is one of the basic steps in this kind of fault finding (along with checking fuses etc). Unfortunately those modules have a history of failure, no doubt due to their exposed location, and new ones (and even working second hand ones) are impossible to find. You could open the module up to look for anything obvious that has failed:-

Yep. State of the ark now, but pretty advanced back then. I wonder if anyone has tried getting a faulty one repaired? Lots of simple components in there that can fail.
On my 2006 Victory Edition I had the same message. I was able to fix it temporarily by pulling my brake pedal towards me. It kept coming back until I change the brake switch.
