all that I’m concerned with is not being able to outdrive my lighting regardless of speed. At light I limit myself to under 100 mph. Too many deer to risk going faster.

At that speed I’m in no danger of out driving the LED lighting low beams I have, with plenty of side lighting from the fog lights to warn me of animals. Occasionally I use the high beams, but they aren’t really needed.

As lighting technology developed. I’m sure better and better systems will be available. Whether they are needed is another matter.

Completely needed. As cars become bigger and bigger, the amount of people who's oncoming brights are blinding us in these low jags keeps increasing. Brighter high beams allows us to flash them and annoy them enough for them to get the hint. It doesn't always work, but I find it does. Now, I'm also considering getting a spotlight torch to carry on me and aim at the *******s behind me who also light up my cabin with their high beams. Especially those F150 raptor bros.
