I have had the air bag light on since I bought the car last year and I finally got round to having a look at it today.

The codes and flash sequence narrowed it down to the passenger side so I removed the bolts holding the seat down and tilted it back to see underneath, I could see straight away that a wire was trapped in the squab adjustment runner so I pressed the button to move the squab as far forward as possible and this freed the trapped wire.

I repaired the wire and refitted the harness holding clip which was not fitted correctly, turned on the ignition and....................no light!!

Might be worth looking at this if you have the same problem.
