Default Air leak after valley hose change

Recent thread about changing all heater hoses. Today checking with black light (UV dye in coolant) for any coolant leaks. No coolant, but just a little bit of oil in left side (American driver's side) of valley. Just a couple drops. Sprayed some starter fluid and affects engine. More effect when spray on left side than right side. Long term fuel trim bank 1, 19.5% and bank 2, 14.8%. Both short terms hovering around zero. No check engine light. Have driven a few hundred miles since hose replacement.
I used new manifold seals and cleaned the surfaces. Wondering if could be breather hose (if that's what you call it) running under manifold to left driver's valve cover.

Also, the accordion section of the air intake pipe is subject to cracking.

That was cracked when I bought her. Wrapped with high temperature electrical tape.

Watched fuel trims as drove to work today. Cruising at 75 mph long term bank 1 at 0.8 and long tern bank 2 at 1.6. Readings above were at idle. Am I correct that excess air getting in has less effect at more throttle? Planning on leaving tomorrow with her on a 1000 mile round trip. Any concerns?
Moss shows this diagram with three parts but only one part listed for sale. I called them. The helper couldn't tell me which of the three parts I'd be buying. Special order so 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.

Parts Geek has this one. One connection is rubber hose in lieu of clip in.

If mine needs replacing again it will be with rubber hoses between the plastic connectors.

You should not have a problem on a trip. When LTFT gets to 25 you may have restricted performance, but at 2000+ rpm that's unlikely.

I replaced the part load breather hose with 3/8" silicone vacuum line and it worked great.
