Default Airbag light - TRAC not available - fast flasher buzzer

I have not taken the car out this year before today as my wife died and I just didn't feel the urge. So today was the first time she has been out for several months after an extended winter layup (with battery tender/charger running)

Anyway, first trip of the year today and a new problem.
Car started first time and for a minute or so ran fine with no issues.
But then the yellow airbag warning light on the instrument cluster (not the facia veneer) started to flash and the TRAC not available message came up.
Both went off by themselves after a minute or 2 only to return. I pulled over. Ignition off. Restarted and all lights and warnings were off and drove away fine but they retuned again. At one point the front windows would not go back up. I also noticed the indicator buzzer/sounder was very fast for a while - then returned to normal then stopped working. I got home (slowly) and turned off the ignition - restarted and all warnings gone, and indicator buzzer normal and windows operate normally. So whatever it is it's intermittent.
I have an Ultragauge permanently connected - no trouble codes displayed - but the little circle at the top right is open not closed. N ever had this before. The manual says it indicates a problem with the ECM unable to determine the correct fuel mixture.
I also noticed a "whirring" sound coming from in front of the passenger footwell. Again, not noticed this before.

I'd be really grateful for any suggestions as too what may be going on and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Condolences on your wife's passing....

How old is your battery? Even though you have kept it on a maintainer, it could be on its last legs....

Thank you for the kind words.
I've ordered a new battery today (VARTA G3) - The current one is 4 years old and I also suspect the CTEK charger isn't charging properly (it's 10 years old).
I was thinking (hoping more like) a failing battery could be the culprit for these diverse issues.
I've removed the current battery and done a hard reset so will see if a new battery solves the problems.
I'm keeping fingers crossed

Fitted the new battery this morning and so far looking good. No warning lights and ECM error has gone (closed loop on the ultrgauge" I won't be 100% until I get the time for a road test. Only thing I've noticed is that the mileage display is flashing slowly with the engine running - I'm assuming this is something to do with the modules resetting but don't know
