Lightbulb Airbag warning light

I have a problem with my airbag light not going off, when I turn the ignition on the light comes on then goes of and then permanently back on again, no flashing, just ON for the check then OFF and back ON again?

Any thoughts on where to start looking ?

If I had a code reader that could read the codes I would have posted them in the description

That is why we are going to guess at the problem.

I had the same problem... I checked everything i could. Then, the other day, I talked with an x jag mechanic who told me to try one more thing. So this is what I did and it worked!. Get in the car, turn the key on but don't start it. then, adjust the steering wheel up and in. then turn off the knob on the side so the wheel doesn't move. turn the key off. Then start the car as normal. He told me it might be the "clock spring" inside the wheel. Can't tell you anymore than that but it worked for me.
Let me know....Thanks
