Hey guys, so I was driving back home like usual, and all of a sudden, the airbag light began to lit up.
At first, it starts with a few slow flashes, but after a while, it stayed up and wouldn't disappear until I turned the car off and restart it.
Attached is a pic of the light, right after I got back home.
It's really weird because it never happens until recently, where it happens 2 times when I drove back home.
What should I do to trace the issue?

So at first, I thought the issue happens because the car is angled at a certain point (when it happens the first time, my 2 front wheels was on top of a speedbump, and on the second time, it was when I backed up my dad's car onto the driveway of our rent, and the curb is a bit narrow, so I have to use a bit of maneuver to get up to our "dedicated" parking spot, which put the car in an angled spot for a bit) but this time, it happens when the car is completely flat, so it might most likely be related to the clockspring as sov211 stated. For now, I'll keep an eye out on the light, and I'll try to see if I can pull any codes out of the computer.
Also a bit of note: I've tested most of the function on the steering wheel column (except for cruise control, which I'll probably check this Saturday) and it seems to work fine.
Update: Unfortunately, it appears I got the code 19 Weird thing is, all of the steering wheel button/function worked perfectly.
Is there a way to rescue the clockspring before I replace it?
As did mine, i would clear the code.
It would sometimes stay off for several days.
Eventually it stayed on & came right back on again, when cleared.

Sounds good, I'm gonna replace it and hopefully the airbag light will be happy and go away haha.

Thanks to your suggestion, I noticed that the clockspring # on the X351 and the X350 are literally the same , except for the last 2 letter (such as AE/AG), which appears to be revisions.
Hopefully the newer revision will remedy the airbag problem .
UPDATE: Just ordered a clockspring/combination switch set from a 2008-2011 Jaguar XF, which looks identical to the unit I have right now.
I'll keep everyone updated on how everything goes, and here's hoping that it works.
Just received the clockspring in the mailbox, and everything looks good until I saw one of the airbag connector, which was broken off (wasn't pictured clearly on the listing ).
After some digging around, I notice that later revision receives a slight change to the airbag harness connector that connects to the clockspring unit (the early version are bulky/fatter, while the later version are much slimmer).
What should I do? I'm thinking of cutting off that broken connector and solder a new one in, but I'm not sure which wire goes to which...
After some time of researching the internet, I believe I may have found a proper connector replacement for the clockspring... Hopefully this is the last thing needed to fix the airbag light issue, which happens quite often as time goes on.
Well, me and my dad spent the entire afternoon installing the new clockspring.
It went on nicely, and the cable connectors we purchased also fits into the airbag module well.
And, of course, when we fired up that lovely V8 engine, we were hoping that the airbag light was gone; however, the code 19 came back up again.
We were thinking that maybe the connector solution didn't work well, so we thought of swapping the clockspring's faceplate with hope that it may fix the problem.
Unfortunately, the designs between those two were different; the old clockspring that we have, the 10-pin connector would go off easily, but for the AF one, the connector is mended in directly to the faceplate, so we couldn't get it off.
Is there a way to separate the ribbon cable by itself? If that is possible, then maybe we could attempt to swap over the faceplate.

Well, we initially thought so, but after putting the old one back together and reinstall it, by some magic, the airbag light is gone
Took it for a drive today, and everything is working exceptionally well.
(Also a big phew, because all the emission monitor test is still flagged as OK, which saves us having to do a drive cycle again )
