Hey guys,
I don't know if this is normal or not but after I start the STR, my airbag light on the dash is the last one to go. It stays on a few seconds then goes away. Is this normal?

 

I think it's normal. Start-up always invokes quick tests of the onboard system components, and the dash lights up indicating such. On all three of our vehicles (a Dodge, a Lexus, and a Jaguar), the airbag light is always the last one to go dark....

 

Mine does the same, Its normal. If It remains on or flashes. you will need to read the trouble codes.

 

Hells bells, I wish I had one like that; mine graces me with its permanent illumination.

Mine lights up for a few seconds and then goes out. The dealer told me it's part of the self-test.

 

Sounds like a fault. Had the (air bag etc) codes read?
