Angry Are all jaguar wheels the same 5x4.75.

My Son picked up a set of Jaguar 18", 8 spoke aluminum wheels off Craiglist. They came with the Jaguar Center Caps. He gave them to me for my 97 XK8. When I went to put them on, they did not fit the hub. It appears that the spacing is closer together. There is no way that these wheels will go on my XK8. Any ideas of what Jaguar they fit? Thanks

I believe 2002 is the cutover where Jag went from the 5x120.5 (5x4.75) to the 5x108 (5x4.25). You can buy spacers to make these work

The XK range did not go over to 108mm until 2006, however XJs did the swap in 2003 with the introduction of the X350...... Do you have a pic of the wheels we will be able to tell you where they came from

If my memory serves me correctly, those are off of an X350 XJ8, used from 04-09. Jaguar calls that design "Dynamic." So.. those are 18x8" 5x4.25 (108mm) with a 49mm offset.

Your 97 XK8 most likely came with the "Revolver" style 17x8" wheel, which is 5x4.75 (121mm) with a 33mm offset.

So.. you could make these fit, but it might be more trouble than its worth, in my opinion. You'd be better off trying to find a set off of another X100 XK (1997-2006) or an X308 XJ (1997-2003)

Note that, for the US market, X308 XJ production technically ended in 2003, with 2004 being the first year for the X350 XJ. Same goes for the X100 XK.. it ran from 1997-2006 in the US, with 2007-2015 being the X150 XK.

Trying to eliminate as much confusion as possible, because you'll obviously get different answers on the changeover year from a UK poster than a US poster, which can be confusing when looking for wheels...
