Default Annual Jaguar XK8/XKR meeting 19th of May (in the UK, organized by XKEC club)

Here some more info, and there is also a link to the xkec website:
http://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/GROWLER-JAGUAR-ENTHUSIASTS-CLUB.html

Have been to a meeting already 2 times, and it was great to meet everyone, and see so many unique cars (not 1 is the same), and am also looking forward to join this year. The previous year’s more than 100 XK8/XKRs turned up, a feast to the eye, and also a great opportunity to discuss modifications dine and see/hear them directly with the owner.

Let me know if you have any questions, but you can also contact mark.gregory@xkec.co.uk directly.

Do you have to be a member of XKEC? I used to be, but didn't think it was as good as this forum, so I let the subscription slide.

It is open for everyone (and as far as I know, it always was), this is also why I mention it here. It would be great if you could join.

Thanks. I would have tried to attend, but I just realised I will be on holiday in Majorca... and driving a rented Ford Fiesta

Just can't link the meaning of holiday and Ford Fiesta, but hope you still have a good time ;-)

Have to say what a great day it was today, we finally got some warm days around 20c (think it must be the same down there), and driving now with the top down is such a treat, now that’s holiday on its own ;-)

Hey Avos, thanks for sharing.............If you, perhaps Nik and any other do decide to go, perhaps a review of the day would be cool?
Maybe a few pics of you and anyone that gets together and a few hundred of the cars on display etc etc?

You could be roving reporters for "JAGUAFORUMS" for the day..

@Nick,
looking forward to meet you again on Growler, and good that you are here as well, it’s a small world...

Good luck with this year’s awards, although having seen some pictures of your car, luck isn’t needed anymore ;-). This year I will be contending again in the most versatile insect collection category, and my chances are looking good

@Jim,
Last year some realy good pictures where made of the day(s) by members, will certainly ask if we can show them here as well. Not sure if anyone is waiting for my writing skills though...

Just see that there are already 100 confirmed enthusiasts for the 19th.

Anyone else coming as well? I will be on an early train Saturday morning from Calais, so we could meet maybe for a Mainland convoy.

It was a great meeting, wished I could have stayed longer, it was just to short.

I think there where about 132 cars (each one unique on their own with their individual mods), and even more so enthousiasts (being it forced into maybe ).

The usual suspect won the best price again of best car, but still congratulations Nik with your
