I need to remove the motor, the plastic belt busted off inside of it. Seems like you need to remove the metal changer/amp housing rack first. I got off the 2 bolts you could see from the rack and was hoping that was it, but there is a third bolt I can not get to. Any ideas?

I looked in the JTIS under antenna motor removal and there was nothing said about the need to remove the accessory rack.

I had to do the exact same thing on my XKR. I did not have to remove anything to get it out, but it was not an easy procedure to do. I even have the taller rack. As you can see, it was pretty mutilated.

I see your hydraulic pump motor hoses look new. Have you replaced them recently?

 

Yes, I did replace them with the aftermarket hoses recomended in the FAQs.
