Any cool software out there for tracking maintenance, part numbers, etc?
Hey guys;
My 1997 Coupe has been with me for about a month, and boy do I love this car. I'm setting up my shop now, because I know I'll be spending some quality time under this car over the years.
Does anyone know of any cool (but not overly complicated) software packages out there for vehicle maintenance? I'm thinking something that can neatly record maintenance work and dates, catalog part numbers, pop out reminders for regular maintenance...basically a single dashboard that can take me to any info on the car outside of JTIS.
I've seen a few things out there on the web, such as Vehicle Manager (they do fleet software but also a home edition for dorks like me). But I have no idea if they're any good.
Anyone using something they like? I'd like to upgrade from the "greasy post-it notes in the toolbox" system I've used for too long now.
Thanks-
Scott

Matt-
Vehicle Manager's home edition (will track up to 10 cars) is only $ 35. I agree, $ 300 would be ridiculous.
I found another option as well...Car Care. This one might be a little better- more options for storing more kinds of information. Their home edition is $ 39.95, and you can find it here.
Porkenstein-
Automotive Wolf does look pretty good, at about the same price. Thanks for the tip. And sorry about all the trouble you've been having lately!
