It appears that if you really find a good one ( the proper fixes already done) they command a 2 to 4K premium. But, summer prices are always higher on convertibles.

I noticed that too. I got my 2002 XK8 convertible for 10,500 early 2013. I figured I move up to a 2006 after a while. I have been watching cars coming up for sale and the prices are going up and up. I just turned down an offer of 13,4000 for mine. (It is in mint condition)

It made the list for the 18 cars to buy now in the latest classic motorsports mag.

I find it very perplexing. Pricing on cars go up only AFTER I sell mine, not while I still own them. This could be a first for me!

They do seem to be inching up overall.

I still think the amount of advertising Tata motors is pushing out for jaguar may be behind the rise in prices. I've been seeing more and more commercials than ever. People are actually talking about jaguar again!! And in a good way!!
Jaguar is regaining their cache again so even the classic models are getting new appreciation.

I would get more for my car now than what I paid for it 2.5 years ago.

In January 2011 I bought my 2000 XKR Convertible for $10,600 w/ 67k miles. I paid to pop out dents, put on tires, touch up and repaint the wheels. I have about $1500-2k into it, but I have rebuilt the suspension, done secondary tensioners, roof hoses, fuel pumps and front brake pads. It now has 84k miles on it and I honestly think I could get at least what I have into it back out.

It's been a very reliable car, despite what some people say. It's not a Honda Civic, but it's been very inexpensive to own considering what it is. Anyone who buys an older Jaguar without wrenching on it themselves, better budget accordingly.
