So I went to check on my hibernating Jag and the door to the storage unit was frozen shut I'll have to go back with a pry bar and hope that nobody calls the cops on me, lol. I'm ready for some nice weather so I can drive her again. I'm getting cabin fever. My winter beater Jeep is fun, but nothing compares to the Jag

After about a foot and a half of the white stuff, last week we had some fifty degree weather that melted most of it I actually was able to drive mine out on the drive way the other night(mines stored in an attached garage). I'm like you I can't wait to get it out for the season. Lets hope for a early Spring

We had a warm streak for a little while too...into the 30s, lol.

 

It a rainy day in the lower 70's here in southern Florida. However my Jag is still in Chicago, deep in hibernation, dreaming of warm summer nights with the top down, under her warm car cover. Next year she'll be down here with me.
If you see my Jag, don't tell her I on FL., she thinks I am reading on how to replace her chain tensioners later this spring.

 

i couldnt wait. once some of the snow here in ny melted and the streets were mostly clean i pulled her out of the garage and im currently enjoying her company. however were expecting another snow storm at like 3 am so shell be hibernating again for a few weeks

 

Yeah - We had a couple of those cold, crystal clear days here this week. Went to a wedding in the XK8 on Sunday, and the groom wanted to take it and let us ride home in the limo. Not a chance!

 

No hibernation for my 12 year old girl. We're out and about everyday the streets aren't snow covered. 50 degrees and sunny she goes topless. Only have a 1 car garage. It was either my '98XK8 or her '07X-type. I'm out in the driveway everynight putting her cover on. Only during heavy snow do I get to put her inside. Got the wife convinced the roof can't take the weight of the snow. She's inside tonight. Jack

Got up to 58F today here, had the top down at lunch and on way home from work.

Hopefully she'll only be in her sleeping bag for a month or two at most!!

 

It was 65 here last sunday and had the jag out all day. No top down unless it gets in the high 60's. I'm ready for warm weather. Maybe a long weekend to Florida. The Big Cat would like that.

 

No sleeper here! My Kat is a daily driver. But we don't really get much snow in MO... its the ICE that I am worried about. Other drivers sliding into me!!! OUCH!

 

Left the cold behind and went down under to celebrate New Years Eve. We are in Sydney and its summer here and the temp is in the 80's.But I will join you back in Minnesota by the 15th.
I have seen a lot of Germany cars here and only three Jags,I would have thought there would be more.
Looking forward to the first of May when I get the Jag out of storage and get behind its wheel again,I am really ready for summer

 

Daily driver here, too in the Pacific Northwet. Sailing on I-5 every week between Portland and Anacortes. Just crossed the 140k mark, 20k on it since I bought it with only a few weeks down for octopus repair work. I don't care much for driving anything else I've got. It will be nice when I can put the top down again...

The weather here in North Carolina has been snowy, icy, or rainy for the last month. My Expedition loves it, she got to pull several cars out of the snow a couple of weeks ago, but I'm just waiting for one of those 70 degree January days we usually have every year. So far this winter seems to be colder than our typical winter. I've lived in this house 8 years and there's a pond down the street that I've NEVER seen frozen over before. A week ago it was solid ice.

 

in ny were expecting another crazy snow storm. itll be snowing from 6pm tonight till 2am thursday morning. were expecting something like 18 inches of snow. guess the jag HAS to go back into hibernation. this sucks

 

We got a few feet of snow again over the course of the last few days. While I enjoy busing through drifts in the Jeep, I'm still ready for winter to end. I hear we will be in the mid-30s in a week or so. If that happens...and if enough snow is removed so I can get out, I'll be able to at least take a joy ride in the Jag.

 

The Deep South is "truly deep" this week--in snow. It's the first substantial snow we've had in a few years,and we're looking for the low teen temperatures for the next 3 nights. Network TV said Atlanta has 11 snow plows--for 4 1/2 million people. After a few years of living "up north", I swore off living anywhere the ground is white for more than 3 days--and living where they don't have quality pig barbecue. My XK8 is not so happy right now--under two car covers. Maybe we'll be up and running by the weekend.

 

Well, we got our first WINTER day yesterday. I can say that I drove my car to work and back but she never made it back to the garage. My area has 1 big hill to get to my home... and other cars was not making it. Being my first time on the slippery stuff and really the first time nervous driving home I did not even try the hill. Parked my car at my father' house and had my wife pick me up in the Jeep! I got her home today and boy was she a hard start! No weather in site but cold temps... so yes...

BRING ON SUMMER!!!!! Please!!!!

 

I'm soooo glad I live in Florida, low temps but no snow! I feel for you guys in the white stuff. Guess I'm spoiled; people here have been complaining about the cold; lows in the 20s.
Anyway I admire you hard core northerners driving with the top down up there. Heck, I haven't even driven mine in the rain yet.
She's about to become my daily driver as I think I've finally got a buyer for my old Suburban. Going to the grocery store won't be so easy though, and I'll be a lot more nervous about parking at Walmart. If I'd bought her new there is no way I would use it everyday. But since there are already a few small door dings and curb rash on the wheels, I'm going to drive and enjoy her like we're suppose to. After all I tell myself, if people buy these "high dollar" cars (to me anything over $30k, new or used) and drive them daily then I shouldn't worry about driving mine. I feel like it's an $80k car, even though I only paid $15k for it. So to those of you that paid say $25k and up, and drive them daily, my hats off to you.
