Anyone replace front side markers with clears?
Was wondering if anyone has replaced their front amber sidemarkers with clear sidemarkers? I think it would look a whole lot cleaner. I do it on all my cars and I think it works. The rear (red) matches the tails, so the fronts (amber) should be clear to match the clear headlights...
Legally they don't have to be amber...
Anyone?

I did mine (side repeaters only) when I got my car recently. The side repeaters have a "squeeze" tab that holds them in. You release the lens from the wing by sliding a thin screwdriver under the front or rear (50% chance) of the lens and pressing in. The lens doesn't have to be colored, but the bulb does. I used "chrome" bayonet amber bulbs so the yellow wouldn't show through. You can get yellow or red LEDs too (red if you do the rears). I got the side repeaters cheaply on eBay out of the UK. I think Adamesh sells the fronts and rears if you want to do all 6. Mark

I bought my clear side markers here:
XKZ - Zahran Ltd
Just email Chris, I believe he said he could get smoked lenses as well as the clear.

Chris lists some items though eBay and I got in touch with him to ask that question. He has only clear so it is looking like spray might be the only option.
Does anyone have experience with spray tint? Brands they like? Application tips?
My thought was to get the real smoke repeaters and tint the markers to match by spraying the inside of the lenses where it wouldn't be exposed to the weather and grit.
