Anyone withs spacers in 18" Milans? (03' XKR Conv)
Lots of good threads about spacers or adapters but not always clear what setup the poster has that they are talking about.
So just curious if anyone has put spacers on 18" Milans? I was thinking maybe 15mm or 25mm on rears then 15mm on fronts.
Did they fit under the MIlan wheel without mucking with studs or grinding out the wheel to fit? Which ones and what size did you get?
And pics of course if you have any!
This is as it sits. I guess P.O. (deceased/original) must have bought the Milans off an XJ or something - as they aren't listed as 03' XKR option and are not listed on the window sticker ($87k XKR Conv no other options!). They fit the brembos fine though and I have the base wheels in storage. I really like them, and appreciate the 18" vs 20" (IMHO) even though the 20's look better. But I wouldn't mind a more full rear look without buying wheels or tires.
No idea what the offsets are for the Milans - seeing conflicting information. If you can remove the wheels from the car, there should be offset and width specs to find a better spacer setup. But generally speaking, you need 25mm spacers to clear the studs if running bolt on spacers - common practice is to shave down the tip of the stud (unused portion of the stud) if you want a smaller spacer, but generally that is limited to 20mm, however H&R has a 15mm option. If you want extended wheel studs, then you can go with any size spacer you want, but the install is more time intensive.
The Milans look similar to the double 5 wheels, so you should easily be able to run a 25mm spacer front & rear. Message me if you have any questions.

That makes sense. When it warms up a little I'll pop the wheels off and get a closer look. I did see some pics online that showed they had a pretty decent hollowed out area between the holes on the back - so maybe I'll get lucky. I decided to order a set of the H&R 15mm. Figured I'd try them on the back and maybe that will be enough for me. If not, I can get a set of 25's and put the 15's on the front.
