Apollo rims (set of 4) on ebay
I know there were a couple people looking for these rims in the used market, and I was notified by my ebay emails, that these were up for auction. Good price, needs refinished on a few of them, and one wheel repaired, but if you can get the set for $500, that's still affordable.
Anyway, the link

Sam, you need to buy a set, because a 2005-2006 won't come with them. It is documented somewhere in the jag literature, they are not meant for XKRs though. no idea why, but they aren't...maybe offset?
Anyway, sent an email to the seller on ebay...found out its a staggered set 8" front 9" rears, just like it should be.

Atlas 19 " wheels for xkr 2001
I'm looking at getting a set of atlas wheels for my 2001 XKR they have been chromed and for some reason the guy who has them has put 255 tires on the front 8" rims. He said he wanted same size tires front back and has new Pirelli P-zeros on them.
Anyone know if these wheels will fit a 2001 xkr I currently have the stock 18" 8/9 with with 245/255 tires. I assume they should fit. Atlas wheels were fitted to the 2005/6 model XK8 but not R's as far as I know.
Thanks

you talking Atlas or Apollos? Apollos are in the listing. From the brochure, page 4 it says will not fit XKR. Not sure why. Atlas wheels will fit, I've seen them on other XKrs around the net. I did found a set of Detroits online somewhere in the last month or so, if you'd like, I can try to find them again for you.

19" Atlas Wheels
These are atlas I am currently try in to bid him down in price I'll let you if I ever get them! as hes a bit of a flake. He agreed on a price 4 weeks ago then emailed me a couple of hours later and said he had sold them for $150 more to someone else. Now 4 weeks later hes selling them again, but hes not interested in my price yet. So I guess I'll wait a few weeks.
Heres a picture of them.

BTW, what wheel upgrades would work best on an older XK8? Can they even take a 19" wheel? Thinking of an aftermarket set of 18" wheels, which I know will fit, but just curious about the 19" wheels. Is there a limitation on this car?
(Oh yeah - please, never mind showing me a pimped out version you might've seen - already seen a white XK8 in town with 26" chrome ghetto rims. Too disgusting for me to even take a phone cam picture to prove it. Absolutely revolting.)

If you have 17" revolvers, 18s will be a nice upgrade. Sorry Army, your XJ may be stuck with those. They are much better than what was on it though, so keep them clean and shiny, and wear'em proudly!

Hi,
I don't know about the Rims, but the Front Tires will definitely rub when going over Speed Bumps if you mount the rears up front. A while back, I kept hearing something from my left front tire when going over speed bumps. I thought that my shocks were going out but they checked out fine. When having new rear tires installed, I had 4 new Center Wheel Caps put on all around. The Tech told me that the Front Left Tire was oddly scarred, so I checked it out. Turns out that a previous Tire Co. that I had used made a mistake some time ago and either rotated my wheels, or simply put the wrong wheel back on the front. Anyway, since correcting the problem, no more noise out of that front tire.
Good luck,
Brian

atlas
Brian Yup the back wheels have a different offset and so will rub if put on the front of the car. The Wheels I am getting are 8" wheels up front but they just have 255 tires instead of 245 tires which should be ok as the 20" rims carry at 255 width tire front and 285 tire back.
Will see if I ever get them!! Not sure how well a 255 tire will sit on a rim designed for a 245 tire. But due to the performance tires that must be mounted in a particular rotation direction and the different offset and width front to back u can never rotate tires on these cars.
