Default Bank one or two

Hi all,
Just for reference, I'm guessing bank one is drivers side on US cars?
I'm replacing a knock sensor on bank 2
Thanks,
Jack

No, bank one is right or passenger side on LHD.

Knock sensors require a bit of work to get to, so consider replacing both. And the old hoses under the manifold, too. And if you change both, the bank number does not matter anymore.

You can 'fish' both the KSs through the intake on the NA 4.0 engines.

The nut is 13mm and the M8 stud has an EXTERNAL TORX for removal.

Thanks, I changed all the hoses last Winter and noted the the knock sensors could be replaced without removing the intake again.

It's a Jaguar - nothing is that simple.

Attached are the various cylinder numbering "standards" Jaguar have used.
