battery drain after 2 days and no start?
You either have something draining your battery, or you have a bad battery. You could take it to an Auto Zone, or similar to get it tested if you don't have a battery charger that can do that.
How old is your battery? Have you had a load test done at one of your friendly local auto parts stores?
There have been several parasitic drains identified but perhaps the most common one is leaving the key in the ignition. That prevents the car from going to 'sleep'. You should not have more than about 30ma drain with everything off. 'Off' only begins a couple minutes after removing the key and closing the doors. More than that and you get to start pulling fuses to see what is causing the problem.

battery is an interstate and a year old
tested (including load tested) at advance auto and checked out AOK
I don't eave a key in my ignition
I read about the ignition key door and trunk lights staying on (how do I determine if trunk lights stay on??) I have a 2 amp battery charger on battery and it rarely goes to full charge...any ideas appreciated!

When you remove the Key from the Ignition, make sure that the little "Door" that admits the Key Closes. If not, the Battery will drain.
Oops, see that you checked that.
Also, the Trunk Lights will go out after about 15min automatically.

Ok, sounds like you know what you are doing. Remove the negative cable from the battery and connect an amp meter between the battery and the cable. Pull fuses until you get to about 30ma.

Also consider internal battery short, esp. if the battery won't take a full charge, and you're not finding a current drain when you check with your ammeter. Easy enough to check, just disconnect and check the voltage in a couple of days.
Good luck in your search.

far fetched maybe, but I had my battery drained because of a door not closing completely. Even though lights go out, the networks stay alive....
And I had a flat battery for leaving the key in, but that's already covered.
