My dealership has informed me I need a new battery. I've been going crazy looking at information on the internet and I'm still uncertain I know enough about what my car needs to make a decision outside of relying on the dealer. Anyone able to give me the lay person's intro to what I need to know about the battery I buy? A mechanic I hope to be relying on (not the dealership) mentioned he would install one made by Alliance. I'd feel best if I knew when I see which battery, I am confident it is what's best.

That was my fault, Steve. I suggested starting a new thread as opposed to hitching on to one with a different subject.. Being a new member Sandrahsfn probably didn't realize the question had already been answered.

 

No problem....we all were new members here at one time and had to find our way around.
