Is there a consensus of opinions ? Are the aftermarket wiper blades of equal or better quality as the Jaguar branded part ?

I have had good experience with the Bosch Icon wiper blades. I had RainX before and those were good for about 5 months. Originally Posted by zray

The best and longest-lasting wiper blades I have ever utilized come from PIAA. That goes for all vehicles, not just our Jaguars....
I haven't found any that last very long especially if your car has to park outside. Glad is glass and rubber is rubber, it's nothing unique to Jags. Thank goodness they are very expensive and can be found all of over town. TM

I’ve found Bosch to be very good and long lasting. Originally Posted by zray

If you still have the original Wiper Assembly (That came from the Factory)...then just buy new Refills from the Auto Parts Store or Amazon....I change out the Rubber Blades about once a year.....It takes a while...but they work great and you get to do something for you and the Jag...........

purchased the original Jaguar Blades a few years ago and ordered PIAA refills of the correct length. They are working very well to this day. Once or twice a year wash the rubber with some dish detergent to remove the grime.
Seem to recall that it was necessary to order refills one inch longer than the blade itself.
On all my cars converting to the PIAA rubber was a great change in terms of performance and convenience. Personally, the Rain-X products do not do much for me other than make a haze on the glass at night.
