Best Colour Wheels for a BRG XK8 Convertible?
I need to get the 18" flute wheels refurbished on my recently acquired 1999 MY XK8 convertible. They are standard silver at the moment and we like them but I'm thinking that a change of shade might be good seeing as they are being painted anyway.
Has anyone matched different shades to their British Racing Green cars? I'm thinking White Gold (a Porsche colour I think) but it's an expensive mistake to make if I get the choice wrong.
Photos of any variations on the standard colours for a BRG car would be much appreciated..

I've seen a lot of Pewter here in the US. Goes with a bunch of colors and wish I had done mine on the wire wheels on the Spit6.
I did black, with the car being charcoal metallic, OK, but yours should really look mean on the darker Green.

That's a lovely collection of Triumphs you have although one of my best mates and local Triumph fanatic would argue that you're missing a nice Vitesse ;-)
Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks, the only Vitesse I found was in a barn with half a roof. Below the doors was pretty much gone. The GT6 that was used for the Spit6 was even worse.
I like your fleet also, getting them covered for insurance and the occasional parts with keep you in trouble with the madam. LOL

A lot of the green XK8s, of course, came out of the factory with Jaguar oyster gold wheels albeit BBS ones. Might be worth considering. Last time I trawled the Internet, the paint was still available.

FWIW the finish on those wheels was awesome. The brake dust did not stick to the paint like the factory silvers seem to do. You could just wipe it off with your finger.
FWIW I took a picture of my XJS and used photoshop to visualize the wheels. There's a layer function so you can switch from different wheels / colors immediately. Worked great!
