Default Black chrome exhaust tips for the XK8?

Anyone have any suggestions on some black chrome exhaust tips?

I would like to find something around 4 - 4.25" wide, 3.5 - 3.75 high, and something that is a fairly simple install.

Does it matter much between screw in vs. weld on?

Welded on 4" Blackened Stainless Steel. About $140 including removing the rear muffler and straight piping it.

Did straight piping it change the sound at all?

Hell yes! Keep your center muffler and remove the rears. If you like the sound STOP! If you keep going it can be hazardous to your wallet. Mine started with the center muffler deleted and sounded OK. Reomved the rear mufflers and on hard acceleration would wake the dead. I then went with an "X" crossover with glasspacks where the center muffler was. Happy now. Have fun.

AHH! finally what I wanted to hear. I just had center muffler removed, and was thinking about loosing the rears too. I don't want deafening sound though. My shop suggested loosing the front mufflers and leaving back for a bit more sound but still bearable.

Does anyone have comparison videos showing the sound of the two?

Removing the front muffler VS. the rear muffler?

Will doing this mess with passing emissions?

Mufflers have nothing to do with emissions. I think some states/countrys have sound checks though.
