Default bleeding brake sequence.

I have looked. What is the sequence to replacing brake fluid.
PASS REAR, DRIVER REAR, PASS FRONT, DRIVER FRONT. All I could find was the mention of Pass Front is the farthest away in line length. Want to do this this week end.

Yeah I know I said the red lady was going to have to be sold, turns out my son wants the car if I have to get rid of it. The car was not the problem it was the car, 2 doors, low to the ground, cannot tote the future grandchild in a two door Jag safely!

I did not search deep enough. But found a reply to my own 2009 post. This is from Testpoint. Now that I have an extra set of wheels around I can work on the resting JAG.

There is no pressure on the ABS system at rest. It only 'manages' the pressure applied by the brake master cylinder or in the case of a tractioncontrolsystem add pressure to manage wheel speed under direction of its programming logic.

Bleeding is no different than any other system although there have been posts about the wheel bleed sequence. Other than saving a few minutes and a few ounces of fluid I cannot see that a sequence would have any affect since there is a dedicated line from the ABS module to each wheel.

Not so fast. I thought I could bleed them down with my vacuum pump...NOT.
I had to wait for my son to get home. Did it old school. Pump up brakes loosen bleeder, drain pedal to floor. tighten. pump, repeat until line runs clear with new fluid.

I started at the pas rear.

12 year old fluid is really dirty and has all kinda floaties in it. Cleaned wheel sensors while down there. Good day!
