Blower Motor Removal RHS
I have what appears to be the foam in the squirrel cage noise in the passenger (RHS) blower), but unable to find anything with a camera, or just by poking around. After a couple of hours trying with no success, I'm thinking I need to pull the blower assembly and try and look inside. Maybe some foam has gotten past the squirrel cage and is wedged between the cage and the blower housing??
Is this possible to remove, and how difficult is it? I've searched for hours, but unable to find anything that can give me more details. Only thing I found was on the X308 site, and it simply said two bolts up top- simple to remove. Looking at pictures of the blower on Ebay, it looks like there might be two bolts just above the recirc door on either side ( I can see one of them in the car- right side near the A pillar- nothing on the other side easily seen), and maybe 1 or two bolts on the rear side against the firewall at the bottom of the blower ( again not easily seen by me). Does any of this sound right? Anyone done this?
Any help would be appreciated. Getting into the hot months here in Vegas, so AC will be on all the time, and the noise is annoying.
Thanks.

Someone went in there recently. The passenger side is apparently "easy" to figure out once the glove box is out of the way.
FWIW, you can remove the fuses in the side fuse boxes one at a time and enable/disable the left/right blower for diagnostics. This way you can tell if one side seems off/blocked/constricted.
Best of luck, keep us posted.

Had already done the fuse pulling to determine it was the passenger side motor. Tried again yesterday with the camera, and confirmed definitely no foam in the squirrel cage. Foam on the recirc door is about 95% intact. Thinking it may just be bad motor. Looked with the camera for mounting points for the motor, and found two up top, each side of the recirc door, going vertically into the dash, and 1 on the lower right had side of the blower housing going horizontally into the firewall. Maybe a couple of small screws where the duct meets the heater housing in the center console. Think I could get to these fasteners to get them out, but replacing them is going to be a bear. Think at this point I may just go forward until it really dies.
Thanks.
Thanks.
