Default Boot liner panels

Hi all, simple question that I hope has a simple answer. I have a 2003 (X100) XKR. Inside the boot there are the usual lining panels - floor, sides and fuel tank cover (boot floor to rear parcel tray. There isn't a liner panel under the rear parcel tray. Can anyone tell me if the car would have come with one from new? It just seems abit unusual considering that the XKR was a premium luxury coupe if it doesn't have a boot liner under the parcel tray from the factory.

Thanks
Mike

Between the spare tire and the cargo floor? The answer is no. I have never seen one with that.

My car is the only one I have seen that has a hard plastic grey colored liner with the Jaguar logo embossed in it that has been excellent for protecting the boot floor carpet. I don’t know how many others have that.

It also came with some hanging cargo nets, which is something I have seen others have as well.

I couldn't find a relevant photo of either my 2001 or 2005 Coupes. This is from the Parts Catalogue (JEPC) showing the carpets.

Thanks Graham, I can see from the parts diagram that there is no liner that fits under the rear parcel tray. This would cover the underneath of the sub-woofer.
As an aside has anyone else noticed that the side liner on the RHS (the CD changer side) has an indentation moulded into it that is the perfect shape and size for a 1Kg fire extinguisher.

Cheers
Mike

I found another use for that space.

The extra space is for the Nav DVD player if your car is so equipped.

But the other options proposed here are far more useful this day in age

This is where I am talking about on the boot liner. Vertically to the left of the CD changer.

On the bottom edge of the parcel shelf? No liner there.
