Sorry if I confused anyone, I am not reffering to the pad on the piston it is the pad that is staionary on the caliper and I did get it off but it was absolutly glued in place which does make sense to me. I am just trying to find the glue. Aftermarket Pads Thanks Chapfr
Mine just 'rest' against the caliper, and stay pretty snug, no adhesive required. Before I would add any, I would just try it solo, pretty sure you will be just fine. Maybe those weren't the right pads in the first place, and that was the only way the prior owner could get it to stay in place??
Didn't know that, very odd!? When I replaced all pads on mine, assumed they were OEM pads, and never saw/felt/dealt with any gluey-tape. So if he uses aftermarket pads, the OP should be ok w/o using any.
