Hi all , anyone interested in replacing my brake light switch on a 2006 xkr. Marlboro nj . Thanks

A 10-year-old kid can do the difficult part underneath the dash while you handle the under-the-hood part. This job always goes much better with two people....

..the problem with those switches when they get old, is the fact that they "leak through" micro currents... i have learned the hard way... replaced my old with another old.. that was supposed to be good.. doubled down under the dash, wishing for a few more joints and elbows and then replaced the damn thing... only to realize id did not help at all.... In the end i bought new microswitches and replaced them on the assy. So.. an extra two visits to the footwell.. Not a single problem since..

Replacing the two factory microswitches with new and better ones is indeed the way to go....
