Default brake upgrade

i have XKR and need to replace the front brakes. I have found a set of brembo brakes used from a jag that will suppose to fit my car.Has anyone done this upgrade and did you have to change the mounting bracket or wheel size to fit them in .

thank you

Year and version would be helpful.

Add it to your signature to help people assist you in the future

You will have to tap the upright caliper mounting holes to 14mm, they are normally a fine thread (1.5mm pitch) but I always do it standard 2mm so I can use caphead bolts. The brake disc back plate will need to be removed/replaced, I think you can flatten them out like you would do for the rear, I normally discard them.

The brake flexi will have to be changed, again normally they are a goodridge stainless braided item.... Thats it and away you go
