Default Which bulb is this?

on my 2006 XK8 the far right headlight bulb is burnt out and needs replacement. I don't know the name of the bulb so I can ask for it. Also, can it be replaced from inside the wheel well by turning wheel. All help appreciated by 82 year old with minimal mechanical knowledge.

From the XK8/XKR Driver's Handbook for the 2005 Model Year:

The one NOT illustrated in this first diagram is the Dip Beam bulb.

The Dip Beam bulb is accessed through the wheelarch:

Headlight – dip: 12V 55W Halogen H1 long life
Headlight – main: 12V 60W Halogen HB3 or HB3A when fitted with Xenon dip

Try your luck with this search tool: Philips Car Bulbs Search

If it is the "low beam" HID bulb, I got a pair of German-made type D1S on eBay for less than $20. I went with the OEM "color" 4300K. So much brighter than the original ones.

Yes you could replace it with the wheel on, but it is so much easier with the wheel off. I'm talking a world of difference.

The diagram in the XK8/XKR Driver's Handbook makes it appear there's a lot more room between the wheel and the liner than there actually is.
